Work Based Learning

The Local Work-Based Learning (LWBL) program is an elective offering that connects students with real-world work experience in community businesses. Students can grow vital employment and interpersonal career skills while they gain insight into career options through on-the-job observations and practical work experiences.

WBL is for eligible SENIOR (12th grade) students ONLY, and would only be considered an ELECTIVE option.  Employment must relate to a student's Educational Development Plan.  Limited spots are available and students will be prioritized based on multiple factors related to a student's current standing in school and overall situation.

Students must speak with their school counselor if they desire WBL as a senior year option.
